The anatomy of the EPQM logo. The underlying idea was to use the elements of Dr. Lal's research work and make letters out of them in a minimalistic manner.
A rework of a branching diagram of various research areas explored by EPQM group led by Dr. Siddhartha Lal at IISER Kolkata. The electron with a spin, the squares in the diagonal of the central block all are representative elements of his research work, in particular, unitary renormalization-group (URG) method.
